Crime fiction isn't my usual genre but as an English teacher the title of the book intrigued me as did the blurb. I did really like the fact that a key character was - had been! - a poet, and the way Paul Trembling integrates the poet's writing into the story and uses it as part of the mystery was a major part of the enjoyment of the story for me. In the same way, I liked the involvement of the library setting and librarian in the story. The book proceeds at a decent pace and is an enjoyable read. Its premise - he kills someone but doesn't know who - is a great one. Author Fran Hill
