Sarah Nicholson

Sarah Nicholson grew up in the small market town of Hadleigh, Suffolk. She moved to the northeast coast in her mid-twenties and spent her married years there, bringing up two sons.

Sarah has been blogging ever since she lost her husband in an attempt to process her thoughts and emotions. She has unravelled, re-ravelled and is currently searching for lost glitter…

With a passion for writing flash fiction, she has been published numerous times on Paragraph Planet, three times on Fiveminutelit and is a double winner of the Retreat West Micro Fiction prize.

Sarah published her memoir In Search of Lost Glitter in January 2024 with Resolute Books. Later that year she won the Ink Book Prize for best non-fiction book of the year. She is now working on a book of flash fiction.
