S.L. Russell
Sue Russell has been making things up since childhood. Her contemporary novels feature people facing formidable challenges: among others, a beleaguered barrister (The Thorn of Truth), a troubled heart surgeon (The Healing Knife), and a teenager who sees things other people don’t (A Vision of Locusts). She has recently produced her tenth book, The Art of Life, with Resolute Books, and hopes it will live up to the expectations of readers who have described her as a ‘gifted storyteller’, producing books ‘full of intrigue, suspense, emotion and truth.’
Her career has included teaching children with learning difficulties, teaching English to adults in the Far East, and playing the piano in a ballet school. For seventeen years, she was a Samaritan. She lives in Kent with her husband. Animals and music crop up regularly in her stories. In her spare hours she plays flute in a band, sings in a choir, and plays the organ in her local church.
