Ruth Leigh

Ruth Leigh is married with three children, one husband and a cat.

She is the author of the Isabella M Smugge series and has published
“A Great Deal of Ingenuity: A Collection of Pride and Prejudice Short Stories” and “The Little Book of Unexpected Poetry” with Resolute Books. She is also the winner of the Page Turners 2025 Romance award for Ingenuity.

Ruth writes for a number of small businesses and charities, conducts creative writing workshops, critiques and edits other writers’ manuscripts, speaks on writing and offers schools work. She has abnormally narrow sinuses and a morbid fear of raw tomatoes but has decided not to let this get in the way of a meaningful life.
