Lesley Cresswell
Born in Essex, Lesley Cresswell now lives in Suffolk. A former nurse, she moved into teaching and managing adult literacy and maths, passionate about enabling adults to fulfil their potential.
Lesley has two grown-up children and enjoys travelling, walking, table tennis and can regularly be found taking part in park runs.
Having written poetry since her teens, she enjoys writing about the realities of the world we live in. Her debut publication - a collection of poetry entitled 'And The Grass Has Just Got Longer' - was published in November 2024. She is writing a novel and has completed a children’s story with a wrap-around concept of supporting adults to engage in the reading process with their young children – a reflection of her passion to enable people who may have struggled with their own learning to succeed and support their own children’s development in the process.
